MFA - Downloading, Installing and Configuring Microsoft Authenticator App
SWTJC uses Microsoft Authenticator for validating users when logging into sites or systems that require MFA. It is free to use and is available for both the iPhone and Android phones. The app does not store any information about you as a user or your phone, it just serves as a tool to improve system security for SWTJC.
MS Authenticator is available to download free from the iOS or Android app stores. Download and install the app before logging into Microsoft 365.
Now log into your Outlook 365 account. Once you provide your SWTJC credentials, you will be prompted that more information is required, hit Next. The next screen will tell you to install Microsoft Authenticator. You did that by using the links above, hit Next and follow the prompts to add this account, typically by using a QR code.
