Campus Resources

The Southwest Texas Junior College CARE Team consists of a committed group of faculty and staff who provide assistance to students in distress through confidential consultation and referral to resources both on and off campus.

The focus of the CARE Team is preventative rather than punitive, with the goals of assisting students to succeed and educating others about ways to help distressed students.

Visit the CARE Team page for more information.

Zen Den

The Zen Den was made to be a place of self-care. Whether that be sitting/laying down listening to our sound machine or playing your music on a Bluetooth speaker, or just taking a few minutes to sit in the dark with the stars projecting on the ceiling. We hope to provide a little something for everyone. The Zen Den is made for one (1) person to use during a 20-minute break unless you have prearranged a counseling session through Teresa Crow.
