COVID-19 Safety Information and Resources

COVID-19 Safety Information and Resources

Southwest Texas Junior College has decided to open its campuses in limited capacities for the Fall 2021 semesters. This recommendation is made with a priority of commitment to safeguarding the health and welfare of every member of the SWTJC community and our shared responsibility to take steps to minimize the risk of COVID-19 across our institution.

Face Covering Practices

Students are required to wear face masks when indoors, engaging in social interactions/environments on SWTJC campuses and outdoors if unable to maintain a six-foot separation from other individuals.

All faculty and staff are required to wear a mask when indoors and not alone in their personal office or behind plexiglass. In addition, employees will wear a mask outdoors if unable to maintain a six-foot separation from other individuals.

COVID-19 Relief Funds

SWTJC will receive additional COVID-19 relief funds under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III.  We are now accepting student applications for these relief funds by submitting the form below.
