Graduation Information

Students who are eligible to graduate must complete and submit an application for graduation, which may be obtained in person or online. To obtain in person, Uvalde students must go to the Rodolfo R. and Dolores Flores Student Services Building (Registrar's Office). Applications can be picked up at the Administration Building of the Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Crystal City campuses.

Commencement Ceremony Location

The 72nd Annual SWTJC Commencement Ceremony will take place in two sessions at Uvalde Honey Bowl Stadium. The ceremony will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. for Liberal Arts students and on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. forApplied Sciences students.

Seating for family friends will be on the west side of the stadium. Only graduates and school officials will be allowed on the field until the ceremony is officially concluded. Following the ceremony, graduates and their families are invited to a light reception at Honey Bowl Stadium.

Graduates will receive their diploma (once verified) via postal mail a few weeks after the event.
