Phi Theta Kappa inducts 50 members during ceremony at SWTJC Uvalde

Uvalde, TX, May 10, 2022 - A total of 50 new members were inducted into the Eta Beta Chapter of the international honor society Phi Theta Kappa during ceremonies held April 28 in Uvalde.
 
New members include Janilyn Aguilar, Valerie Ayala, Luke Barrientes, Elisa Berrelez, Christopher Blanco, Kallie Brucks, Jo'hanna Cabello, Alice Chum, Brissa Coronado, Ty Cox, Maya Diaz, Lynd Daniell Diongzon, Darbi Dixon, Liza Fabela, Macey Fowler, Karicia Gallegos, Ashley Garcia, Jocelyn Garcia, Nenishka Garcia, Isela Garza, Milagros Garza, Fred Gonzales III, Kayleigh Griffin, Gianina Gutierrez, and Landon Haynes.
 
Other new members also inducted were Denise Hernandez, Noelia Hernandez, Yolanda Hernandez, Allison Johnson, Jordan Knapp, Dakota Kolacek, Alyson Lombrana, Hector Lopez, Andres Lozano, Anita Martinez, Leah Martinez, Alondra Martinez Aguilar, Brenda Martinez Aguilar, Christian McQueen, Gisela Morones, Alessandra Orosco, Christian Perez, Alejandro Rodriguez, Kira Smith, Logan Still, Madisyn Straker, Garrett Talamantes, John Wade, Anna Cate Walker, and Kyndall White.
 
Dr. Randa Faseler Schell, Eta Beta Chapter Advisor and SWTJC Chief of Staff, opened the ceremony with a welcome message to the new members.
 
Eta Beta Chapter advisor Ryan Alldritt introduced Schell and served as master of ceremonies for the evening.
 
Others participating in the ceremony were Justin Perez, Ofelia Aguirre, Kaylan Rodriguez, Ryan Hernandez, and Kimberly Gomez.
 
Light refreshments were offered following the induction ceremony outside of Tate Auditorium.
