Students who are eligible to graduate must complete and submit an Application for Graduation. The application may be obtained in person or online. To obtain in person, Uvalde students must go to the Flores Building (Registrar's Office). Applications can be picked up at the Administration Building of the Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Crystal City campuses.

*Students who are eligible to attend the May ceremony each year are those who have completed their degree requirements in December of the previous year or will complete their degree requirements in May or August of the current year.
The 70th SWTJC Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Uvalde Honey Bowl Stadium, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Practice for the ceremony will be held Friday, May 12th at 3:00 p.m.
Seating for family friends will be on the west side of the stadium. Only graduates and school officials will be allowed on the field until the ceremony is officially concluded. Following the ceremony, graduates and their families are invited to a light reception at Honey Bowl Stadium.
Graduates may pick up their official diplomas/certificates at the visitor's side of the stadium near the Field House prior to attending the reception following the Commencement Ceremony.
