Qualifications

You may qualify for assistance from this grant if you are enrolled in a technical program and can show economic need. 

Other qualifications include:

bullet Enrollment for 12 semester hours of classes in the Fall and Spring semesters and 6 semester hours during the Summer sessions
bullet Actively enrolled in a Technical Program
bullet Maintenance of an overall grade point average of 2.0
bullet Registration in classes for your respective major
bullet Enrollment in a technical program considered non-traditional for your gender
bullet Limited English proficiency
bullet Single parent with custody

Showing economic need consists of being economically disadvantaged by receiving funds from any of the following State of Federally funded assistance program:

bullet Pell Grant
bullet Food Stamps
bullet Medicaid
bullet Funds from Middle Rio Grande Workforce Development Council
