Applying for Financial Aid:
Online (quickest response): Applicants are encouraged to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ (SWTJC school code: 003614). Computers are available at our campuses located in Uvalde, Eagle Pass, Del Rio and Crystal City.
Mail: Applicants may fill out and mail out a FAFSA to the U. S. Department of Education using the envelope provided in the application form. Applications are also available at all campus locations. If you are not near one of our campus sites and are not able to locate an application please contact our main office at 830-591-7368.
After You Apply:
FAFSA on the web: Your application will be processed as soon as you complete it and submit it to the Department of Education from their website. As long as you have a valid PIN number and included your PIN in the application, Southwest Texas Junior College will receive your application from the U.S. Department of Education. Please be sure to have Portal and WebAdvisor setup to receive financial aid updates when they become available.
